Description Technical Specs
Grado introduces the second limited edition of the Heritage Series, the GH2. Cocobolo wood, known for fine musical instruments, is some of the most beautiful and tonally pleasing woods in nature.

"We've never had such striking visual differences from pair to pair as with the GH2"

Cocobolo wood originates from the rain forests of Central America, and its denseness is a primary reason why it produces such a unique sound. Grado Limited Editions allow experimentation with different woods and designs, resulting in unique headphones. We’re extremely pleased to offer the cocobolo GH2 as one of the finest headphones we’ve ever built at Grado.

Blown away! March 7, 2017
Reviewer: Matt.O from Marana, AZ United States
The cocobolo wood is even more breathtaking in person.  Upon first opening the box, I was in love.  The coloring and patterning of this wood really have to be seen.  Pictures don't do it justice.

The good looks got me in the door, but will the sound keep me coming back?  Oh yes.  I was blown away.   I'm pretty sure I took off the GH2 and just stared at it for a minute in disbelief.  It must the denseness of the wood and a driver tuning to match, but these GH2s have a fullness to the sound that I don't hear in my GH1 or GS1000e.  And they dig deep.  Sub-bass rumble in a Grado?  Yes!  There's tight mid-bass without bleeding into the mids, and the mids are crystal clear, letting me hear all the details of the instruments and bring the vocals front and center.  Throw in plenty of signature Grado sparkle in the highs without being shrill or sibilant, just for good measure.

I have to believe the GH2 is destined to be a classic. Get one while you can and enjoy the music!
