Description

Designed for state-of-the-art performance and specifically to play Grados, the new RA1 will allow you to hear your headphones like never before. This new amp is machined from a solid block of mahogany and measures 5" wide, 5 1/2" deep and 1 1/2" tall and weighs in at 12 oz. The RA1 A/C powered version  will drive the amp for hours of listening pleasure. And the sound? Just like all Grados: warm, smooth, full-bodied, non-fatiguing and rich. Hook it up to any line source (portable or in-home) and drive your Grado headphones to their full potential.

Beautiful, Well-Performing Product! July 18, 2017

Admittedly, while I love music, I am by no means an "audiophile." I use lossy compression (AAC) for digital files and I own a cheap turntable. This is the first amp I've ever purchased, but I could not be more pleased with the outcome! I use this with my new Grado Prestige SR125e headphones and I hear music like I never have. As a study, I played Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" and, as familiar as I am with the song, I heard parts of the background music I'd never known was there. I'm certain in the future I will also be purchasing the battery-powered RA2 amp to allow for mobility. I am delighted to have discovered this company and look forward to the years of great sound from their products!

Perfect Unit July 29, 2014

Complements the PS1000 very well and is a compact unit with a very nice looking finish on the box matching the case.  I chose the A/C model over the battery one because it's not like I'm going to be on the go with my PS1000 headphones, but the battery one would be perfect if you're going to be mobile with your set up.  Homerun again Grado!
