The RS2e is the little brother of the RS1e. The RS2e has an upgraded driver and the new 8 conductor cable design. The characteristics of the RS2e remain the same as its distinguished big brother, with the new species of hand crafted mahogany, but with a smaller wooden air chamber. Although a miniature version of the RS1e, the RS2e still maintains an overall sound that is pure Grado, warm harmonic color, full bodied vocals, excellent dynamics and ultra smooth top end. Grado's famous retro styling with a gorgeous Mahogany look make these truly an audiophile's dream.

Well. These are excellent December 19, 2016
Reviewer: carter harvey from Towson, MD United States
I love these. I purchased from a local high-end audio dealer and have since also purchased from them Focal's new headphones, the Elear (which are also phenomenal). That said, I am still listening to the RS2e cans as much as I ever have. They are simply outstanding, and whether I am listening to them on a hike, or in my living room by the fire the quality of sound and they deliver is of the utmost intimacy. The warmth they deliver, and the details they capture are paramount. The SR80 was my first headphone, and with in a week I gifted them to a friend and bought the RS2e because I had to know what they could offer. Happily, these headphones have delivered pricelessly and I look forward to many, many years of listening.

Returns December 14, 2016

The only complaint I have is the time it takes to get a refund. Otherwise, the service is average; nothing outstanding & nothing bad.

Sorry but there is a buzz in the right phone and I'll need to return for a 'sound check". Seems minor but noticeable.

Never in my life as an Engineer or musician... October 30, 2016
Reviewer: Jerry Spraggins from Bellingham , WA United States
These are literally the greatest things I've ever graced my ears with! The range is wider than anything I've ever heard.... First thing I listed to was Xanadu by Rush - It sounded as if I was there whilst they were recording the original takes. I can't explain enough how amazing these tools are. They were a gift and now I need a pair...! Next is the amp!

Delighted Ears August 18, 2016

I record marching bands/large ensembles in the field. I'm finally hearing the details that I knew were present in my final products thanks to my new Grado RS2e's. Thanks so much!
