The new SR325e has an upgraded driver and cable design. The way the SR325e driver, cable and metal housing move air and react to sound vibrations are now less affected by transient distortions. With the new 8 conductor cable design you will notice improved control and stability of the upper and lower range of the frequency spectrum with both better supporting Grado's world renowned midrange. I purchased these headphones because they were rated the #1 headphones on consumer reports. I wear two hearing aids because I worked on signal systems for the NYC transit authority for over 20 years and have great difficulty hearing dialogue. I had many headphones in the past which were actually of no help to me. I can't explain how overjoyed I was the moment I put these headphones on. I can now enjoy TV and movies once  again in my life. I would rate this product 10 Stars if it was possible. I would also like to thank 4OUR EARS for their excellent pricing and prompt delivery service. I usually shop at Amazon and the price I paid was much lower and the delivery much swifter.

Solid construction, clear accurate sound and quality materials. Comfortable to wear for hours with no ear fatigue.  4OurEars was prompt in fulfilling my order and notified me when the headphones were sent.

Amazing precise sound March 16, 2017

I've had my headphones for about a week now  and have to say they are the best sounding headphones I own or ever tried!  They have a simple retro look, which is pretty cool.
Comparing them to my bowers & Wilkins 5 and my Bose 35 which I love and use for mobile and travel.
The SR325e I'm able to hear more clearly without sounds being muddled out, and a clear separation of sound is amazing.. They are also very comfortable and light and have had no issue keeping them on all day at work, however I only use these when I'm in my office or home due to the open design and don't want to disturb others around me.  Having a Mic option would be a nice addition to take calls while working.

I'm not sure there is any other headphone in this price range on market that can compete with with sound quality.
