Grado IEM - Superb! April 22, 2015
Reviewer: Andrew Phillips from Los Gatos, CA United States
These IEMs are probably the most musical earbuds I have ever used and I own a pair of Shure 535. The musicality of these earbuds is just out of this world, great definition in treble bass and mid’s. The sound stage is airy and make them visualize your music in a new and unheard way. My musical preferences cross all boundaries and I believe Grado to reproduce sound in such a melodic way that all genres sound lively, lucid and vibrant.

They do need break in, give them good few days and believe me they just start to sound better and better. The price is high, but as with many things, the more you pay the better you get - at least in this case that old adage is true. I use a Graham Slee Voyager amp with these when traveling. In the air, they remove the engine noise of most aircraft making music sounds very lively even with a little background noise. A good headphones amp does bring them to life, most portable players won't drive them enough, so bare that in mind.

GRADO GR10 review October 28, 2014

Very light and comfortable. Rich clear sound with crisp highs,  punch to the bass and natural vocals. Good noise reduction. I'm very happy with these.

GR-10 August 4, 2014
Reviewer: Jeff Cross from San Francisco, CA United States
Pleasing high frequency clarity that is unusual in an in-ear, but difficult to fit in my larger size ear, even with the larger ear piece. As a result the bass response, while fast and clear was 10-20db too quiet. If i wedge them uncomfortably deep into my ears it helps improve bass response, but under no circumstances are they as satisfying as I was hoping for.

Its important to note that I am listening to music that contains healthy amounts of bass too. Compared to my other in ears, the GR10 are among the lowest performing I have heard.

I have bought a wide range of in-ear headphones and few match the high frequency clarity, but most provide more satisfying bass response.

I have in the past recommended, without hesitation, Grado to anyone who asked, but I would not recommend the GR-10s unless they are listening to acoustic music, or opera or a form of music less likely to require low frequency clarity.
